My husband says I eat like a bird now and he is not wrong

Saw this come across my feed today and thought the community would want to discuss.

My husband says I eat like is something that affects a lot of us here, and the latest information is worth paying attention to. I'll share what I know and hopefully others can fill in the gaps.

Key points as I understand them:

  • This has been evolving over the past few months
  • There are different perspectives on how to approach it
  • The practical implications depend on your specific situation

What are you all hearing from your providers about this? Anyone have direct experience to share?

KarenAZ_mom's experience with My husband says I eat resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process β€” starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I titrated faster. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 52 lbs in 7 months.

One thing I would add that KarenAZ_mom did not mention: the relationship with food fundamentally changed.

Thanks for sharing this, KarenAZ_mom. A few questions about your My husband says I experience:

  1. What dose are you currently on?
  2. How long before you noticed significant changes?
  3. Did your doctor have any specific recommendations about My husband says?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here β€” wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on My husband says I eat.

To answer pat_auckland: yes, I am on compounded sema from a 503B pharmacy.

Quick update: things are still going well. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion β€” this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. πŸ™

Relevant to My husband says I eat like a β€” here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.6% β†’ 5.5%, triglycerides 225 β†’ 95 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 β†’ 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 17 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
