I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with Master verified vendor since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.
9 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been in line with the evidence presented.
For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. But always verify with your own provider.
