With the explosion of telehealth services prescribing GLP-1 medications, I wanted to compile an honest comparison. I've personally used 3 of these services and researched the rest. All prices current as of March 2026.

Telehealth Provider Comparison:

ProviderMedicationsConsult FeeMonthly Med CostTotal Monthly
CalibrateOzempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro$0 (included)Varies (insurance)$199/mo membership + insurance copay
FoundCompounded sema, Ozempic$0 (included)$99-399$99-399 all-in
Henry MedsCompounded sema + tirz$0 (included)$199-349$199-349 all-in
Ro (Roman)Compounded sema, Wegovy$0$145-399$145-399
Push HealthAnything (custom Rx)$69/consultYou fill at pharmacy$69 + pharmacy cost

Important context: the telehealth landscape is shifting because of the FDA shortage resolution question. As of March 2026, the FDA has NOT officially ended the semaglutide shortage designation, but they've signaled it could happen by Q3 2026.

If/when the shortage ends, compounding pharmacies lose their 503A/503B exemption for semaglutide. That means:

  • Found, Henry Meds, Ro — their compounded semaglutide products would have to be discontinued
  • Calibrate — less affected since they primarily prescribe brand-name
  • Push Health — unaffected since they just write the Rx and you fill wherever

If you're choosing a telehealth provider, consider what happens to your treatment if compounded semaglutide becomes unavailable. Does the provider have a plan B? Will they transition you to brand-name? At what cost?

I've used Found for 4 months. Here's my detailed experience:

Pros:

  • All-in pricing is genuinely all-in — no hidden fees, no surprise charges
  • Their compounded semaglutide at $149/month is from a 503B outsourcing facility (not a 503A pharmacy — this matters for quality standards)
  • The prescribing physician actually reviewed my labs and adjusted my dose based on my response, not just a rubber stamp
  • App-based tracking is clean and functional

Cons:

  • Getting a human on the phone is nearly impossible — everything is async messaging
  • Dose titration schedule is rigid — they wouldn't let me stay on 0.5mg longer even though I asked
  • No option to get their compounded product independently tested — they refused to share their compounding pharmacy's identity "for competitive reasons"

That last point bothers me. I don't need to know the pharmacy's name to test the product in my hand, but their reluctance to be transparent is a yellow flag.

Physician who works for one of these platforms (won't say which, for obvious reasons). A few behind-the-scenes insights:

  1. Most telehealth GLP-1 platforms have a >90% approval rate. If you meet BMI criteria and don't have contraindications, you're getting the prescription. The "consultation" is more of a screening than an evaluation.
  2. The margins are in the compounded product, not the consult. The $0 consult fee is subsidized by the medication markup. A compounded semaglutide vial that costs the pharmacy $30-50 to produce is sold to you for $150-350.
  3. Lab monitoring varies wildly. Some platforms require baseline labs, some don't. Some require periodic monitoring, others are fire-and-forget. The ones that require labs are practicing better medicine.

My recommendation: choose a provider that requires labs (baseline + at least every 6 months), has a real physician review (not just an NP rubber stamp), and is transparent about their compounding source.

— that insider perspective is invaluable. The lab monitoring point is huge. Let me update my comparison:

Lab Requirements by Provider:

  • Calibrate: Requires comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, HbA1c, thyroid function at baseline and every 3 months. Most thorough.
  • Found: Requires basic metabolic panel at baseline. Follow-up labs "recommended but not required."
  • Henry Meds: No lab requirements. Asked about medical history only.
  • Ro: Requires metabolic panel at baseline. Follow-up labs every 6 months.
  • Push Health: Depends on the individual physician you're matched with.
  • SemaConnect: No lab requirements.

The providers requiring NO labs are essentially prescribing a potent injectable medication based on self-reported health information. That's concerning.
