Specific question about has anyone dealt with bone broth that I have not seen answered clearly anywhere:

Does timing matter?

Context: I am week 4 on 0.5mg sema. My provider said one thing but I have read conflicting info online.

Would appreciate hearing from people with direct experience, not just theoretical answers.

DanielChem_CHI's experience with Has anyone dealt with resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process β€” starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I titrated faster. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 36 lbs in 11 months.

One thing I would add that DanielChem_CHI did not mention: the relationship with food fundamentally changed.

Thanks for sharing this, DanielChem_CHI. A few questions about your Has anyone dealt experience:

  1. What dose did you start at?
  2. How long before you noticed side effects improving?
  3. Did your provider have any specific recommendations about Has anyone deal?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here β€” wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Has anyone dealt with.

To answer amy_econ_NJ: yes, I am on compounded sema from a 503B pharmacy.

Quick update: things are still going well. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion β€” this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. πŸ™

Relevant to Has anyone dealt with bone β€” here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.6% β†’ 5.5%, triglycerides 229 β†’ 99 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 β†’ 1.1 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 9 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
