OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Semaglutide titration.

To answer Dr.Martinez: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Reading this thread on Semaglutide titration hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 273 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

9 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 48 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Semaglutide — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with Semaglutide titration since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.

14 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been very similar to what was described.

For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. Just make sure to check for more recent threads too.

Reading this thread on Semaglutide titration hits close to home. Night shift nurse — I started at 295 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

11 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 70 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Semaglutide — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

PharmD_Rodriguez — that is really helpful context on Semaglutide titration. Follow-up question: what labs did your doctor order to monitor this?

I am in a similar situation (just started) and trying to set realistic expectations.
