Want to share my personal experience related to Semaglutide titration since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 267 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 16 months later: I am down 77 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Semaglutide aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this Semaglutide thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first 6 weeks are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Semaglutide titration.

To answer Dr.Martinez: yes, I am on compounded sema from a 503B pharmacy.

Quick update: things are still going well. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏
