I actually tracked this. I did 6 weeks of morning dosing (7am Wednesday) and then 6 weeks of evening dosing (9pm Wednesday) at the same 0.5mg dose.

This is a great self-experiment. The nausea difference you observed is consistent with literature — GI motility slows during sleep, so the initial absorption and receptor activation during overnight hours may blunt the acute GI signaling. But as you found, the overall efficacy measured by weight loss doesn't meaningfully change.

One thing I'd add: if you do heavy morning workouts, some patients report that injecting the evening before a rest day works best so the peak GI effects don't coincide with exercise-induced nausea.

I tell all my clients the same thing — pick a day, pick a time, set a phone alarm, and don't overthink it. I've had people delay starting for WEEKS because they couldn't decide on the "perfect" injection day. There is no perfect day. Thursday evening seems popular in my practice because the peak side effects hit Saturday when most people are home.

This is all incredibly helpful. I think I'm going to switch to Thursday evenings — I like the logic of having the peak effects over the weekend. Thanks so much everyone! 💛
