Slightly tangential to Contaminated BAC water but rachel_ABQ reminded me — has the insurance landscape changed recently?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

Reading this thread on Contaminated BAC water hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 297 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 72 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Contaminated BAC — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

kate.chem — that is really helpful context on Contaminated BAC water. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer gary_naperville's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Contaminated BAC water from is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
