This happened to me with ResearchChemDirect last year. Lost $220. Reported to the FTC and never heard back. Filed with IC3 and never heard back. My bank denied the Zelle dispute. The harsh reality is that unless law enforcement decides to make this a priority (they usually don't for individual losses under a few thousand), we're out of luck. The best we can do is warn others and make it harder for these people to find new victims. That's why communities like this are so important. Just want to share a positive update — I DID pay by credit card (Amex) and my chargeback was approved within 48 hours. Full refund of $275. Amex was great about it. I provided: - Screenshot of the dead website - Proof of purchase email - Evidence that no product was received - Link to this thread showing it was a scam If you paid by credit card, DO THE CHARGEBACK.
