I listen to podcasts during my daily walks (which I can actually DO now, thanks GLP-1) and I'm running out of good metabolic health content. What are y'all listening to? I need recs that are science-based but not boring. Basically explain-it-like-I'm-smart-but-not-a-doctor vibes. π§
The Peter Attia Drive β hands down the best for deep dives on metabolic health. Episodes are long (2-3 hours) but incredibly detailed. His episodes on GLP-1 mechanisms are *chef's kiss*. Warning: you will start using words like "zone 2 cardio" in casual conversation.
Maintenance Phase β ok it's more about diet culture and weight science than specifically metabolic health, but it's funny AND informative. They debunk a lot of wellness nonsense with actual research. Highly entertaining.

Verify Your PeptidesMaintenance Phase is SO good. Aubrey and Michael are hilarious. The episodes on BMI history and the obesity epidemic are essential listening imo.
Huberman Lab has some excellent episodes on metabolism, glucose regulation, and appetite hormones. Fair warning: some episodes are like 4 hours long. I listen at 1.5x speed like a psychopath.
