I'm a analytical chemist and I want to point out something about those Janoshik results. The fact that they detected mannitol specifically is telling. Mannitol is commonly used as a lyophilization bulking agent in legitimate peptide manufacturing. This means whoever made these vials had enough knowledge to make them LOOK like real lyophilized peptides (the cake in the vial would look right) but just didn't bother putting any actual peptide in.
This is deliberate, sophisticated fraud. Not a manufacturing error.
