OK so eating out on GLP-1s is a whole thing. Small appetite + need protein + don't want to waste $30 on a meal you eat 4 bites of. I've been building a mental list of restaurants/orders that work and I want to crowdsource this. Drop your city + restaurant + what you order + approx protein! I'll start: 📍 Austin, TX 🍽️ Torchy's Tacos — single Trailer Park taco (fried chicken, green chiles, lettuce, pico), order it "trashy" (with queso). ~28g protein and it's the perfect small portion. 📍 Austin, TX 🍽️ Flower Child — the Mother Earth bowl with grilled salmon added. ~40g protein and you can easily save half for later.

📍 Chicago, IL 🍽️ Portillo's — hear me out — a single Italian beef sandwich, dipped. 38g protein. Yeah it's not "clean eating" but it's incredible and the protein is legit. I eat half and save half. 📍 Chicago, IL 🍽️ Sweetgreen — Harvest Bowl with chicken. ~35g protein. The boring healthy answer but it works and it reheats fine. 📍 Chicago, IL 🍽️ Reza's — Persian restaurant, get the chicken koobideh plate. Lean ground chicken kebab. Probably 45g+ protein and it's a huge portion so you'll have leftovers for days on GLP-1 appetite 😂

📍 NYC 🍽️ Chipotle — I know, I know, but a bowl with double chicken, fajita veggies, pico, and lettuce is like 65g protein for $13. I eat it in two sittings. Most efficient protein per dollar in Manhattan which is saying something. 📍 NYC 🍽️ Dig — the build-your-own plate with grilled salmon + roasted chicken. Sounds like overkill but portions are reasonable and you're hitting 50g+ protein easily. 📍 NYC 🍽️ Xi'an Famous Foods — hand-pulled noodles with lamb. The protein-to-deliciousness ratio is off the charts. About 30g protein and the spice level helps with appetite (in a good way). 🌶️

📍 Seattle, WA 🍽️ Cafe Yumm — the Yumm Bowl with grilled chicken. Rice, beans, avocado, that magical Yumm sauce. ~35g protein and extremely gentle on the GLP-1 stomach. 📍 Seattle, WA 🍽️ Bongos — Cuban sandwich. Pressed pork + ham + swiss. Like 40g protein. It's a lot of food so I always split with someone or save half. 📍 Seattle, WA 🍽️ Any poke place honestly — a mini poke bowl with double protein (salmon + tuna) on greens instead of rice. 40g+ protein and it's light enough to not trigger nausea. Pacific Northwest poke hits different 🐟

the Chipotle double chicken bowl is genuinely the best hack. I do the same thing — it's two meals for $13. Unbeatable. poke on greens instead of rice is GENIUS. Stealing this immediately. More room for protein, less carb bloat.
