🎉 MILESTONE: International vendor directory need advice!

I can not believe I am typing this. When I started this journey I had zero hope.

Numbers: BMI went from 38 to 25.

Thank you to this community for keeping me sane through the hard parts. You know who you are. 🙏

Gonna push back on this one. International vendor directory is not that straightforward in my experience. I have been on this for 12 months and the reality is messier than the trials suggest.

Don't get me wrong — the medication works. But cost accessibility is a real barrier. We should be honest about that.

This is exactly right. traveltech_sara articulated what I have been trying to explain to my doctor for months. The International vendor aspect is the most important factor.

Clinical perspective on International vendor directory need:

I have managed ~150 patients on GLP-1 therapy and this topic comes up frequently. What the data shows — and what I see in practice — is that proper titration prevents most adverse events.

For this specific question, I would recommend: reviewing the relevant clinical guidelines.

I respect dan_philly perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: International vendor directory — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying dan_philly wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.
