I respect bri_stats perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Appeal letter template anyone — the effect size varies considerably by population.
I am not saying bri_stats wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Appeal letter template hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 269 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.
