Has anyone dealt with united healthcare pa criteria for wegovy?

Wanted to share some data with the community since I know we're all about evidence here.

Background: I have been tracking everything meticulously since starting my GLP-1 12 months ago. Here's what I have found regarding has anyone dealt with united healthcare.

I'll post my numbers below and would love to see others share theirs too. The more data points we have, the better we can all make informed decisions.

Fair warning β€” this is a long post. TL;DR at the bottom for those who do not want the full breakdown.

Has anyone dealt with united healthcare β€” I actually dealt with this exact situation around month 3.

Short answer: talk to your prescriber first. Longer answer: I wrote about my experience in the results forum if you want the full details.

Completely agree with PharmD_Rodriguez. I would add that Has anyone dealt with united also has implications for body composition that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to fewer side effects compared to what I was doing before.

As a healthcare provider, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on Has anyone dealt with united healthcare.

Building on what lisa_labSD said β€” the evidence base here is well-established. The key publications to reference are from the FLOW program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
