I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with FDA compounding since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.

10 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been very similar to what was described.

For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. Just make sure to check for more recent threads too.

Relevant to FDA compounding enforcement — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.4% → 5.5%, triglycerides 213 → 113 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 17 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to FDA compounding enforcement since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 269 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 6 months later: I am down 84 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The FDA compounding aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with FDA compounding since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.

7 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been even better than expected based on this discussion.

For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. Some of the vendor information may be outdated.
