Important context: the skin often takes 6-12 months to "catch up" after significant weight loss. What looks like volume loss at month 3 can look very different at month 12. Give your body time. Collagen peptides and staying hydrated genuinely help with skin elasticity during this process.

I gained a few wrinkles and lost 70lbs of health problems. I'll take the wrinkles. My A1C doesn't care about my nasolabial folds lol

Thanks everyone. I think I needed to hear that this is normal and temporary AND that it's ok to care about how you look while also being grateful for health improvements. Both things can be true.

Both things are absolutely true Holly. Taking care of your appearance IS part of taking care of yourself. No shame in that. Sunscreen every day btw - that alone does more than any expensive serum. 😊
