GLP-1 and alcohol reduction is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. TrialTracker_MD articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The GLP-1 and alcohol aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on GLP-1 and alcohol hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 289 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

15 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 64 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about GLP-1 and alcohol — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

PedsEndoPhilly — that is really helpful context on GLP-1 and alcohol. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer CarlaRPh_TPA's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, GLP-1 and alcohol reduction is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.

Bookmarked 📌 The GLP-1 and alcohol info in this thread is essential. Coming back to this for sure.
