+1. This mirrors my journey exactly. The Imposter syndrome discussion here is so valuable.

Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 277 lbs and felt like I would tried everything

I respect Dr.EndoEP perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Imposter syndrome after weight — the subgroup analyses show meaningful heterogeneity.

I am not saying Dr.EndoEP wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Imposter syndrome after hits close to home. Night shift nurse — I started at 263 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

9 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 38 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Imposter syndrome — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

chris_chi24 — that is really helpful context on Imposter syndrome after. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.
