Ok horror story time: my ice pack leaked in my bag and soaked everything. Medication was fine (it can be at room temp for up to 21 days for Mounjaro) but my clothes were NOT. Now I double-bag everything. Learn from my soggy mistakes.

Diana lol the soggy suitcase saga. But you raise a good point — people don't realize these pens CAN be at room temp for a set period. Check your specific medication's guidelines but it's usually 2-4 weeks. No need to panic if your ice pack dies.

International tip: bring a letter from your doctor translated into the local language if you're going somewhere where English isn't primary. I had a customs agent in Japan who was confused until I showed the translated letter. Smooth sailing after that.
