I respect mia_MS2 perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: State pharmacy board — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying mia_MS2 wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on State pharmacy board hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 289 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

FDA_TrackerJim — that is really helpful context on State pharmacy board. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
