Anyone else dealing with glp-1 and dental health dry mouth, from a cost perspective?

I have been paying $280/month and I am trying to get insurance to cover it.

GLP-1 and dental health dry mouth, TMJ, — I actually dealt with this exact situation a few weeks ago.

Short answer: it depends on your starting point. Longer answer: I wrote about my experience in the dosing forum if you want the full details.

Completely agree with Dr.GutHealth. I would add that GLP-1 and dental health dry also has implications for long-term metabolic health that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to significant improvements compared to what I was doing before.

As a pharmacist, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on GLP-1 and dental health dry mouth, TMJ,.

Building on what Dr.GastroMayo said — the evidence base here is robust. The key publications to reference are from the FLOW program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
