Quick question for the group — beyond-use dating 28 days vs 60.

I searched before posting (promise!) but the threads I found were from 2024 and things seem to have changed since then.

My situation: I'm switching medications and this came up during my last appointment. My nurse mentioned it but did not go into detail.

Would love to hear from people who've actually dealt with this. What worked? What didn't? What do you wish someone had told you?

Thanks everyone — this forum has been invaluable for me.

PeptideChemSF's experience with Beyond-use dating 28 days resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process — starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I started 3 months later. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 66 lbs in 11 months.

One thing I would add that PeptideChemSF did not mention: the mental health improvements were just as significant.

Thanks for sharing this, PeptideChemSF. A few questions about your Beyond-use dating 28 experience:

  1. What dose are you currently on?
  2. How long before you noticed significant changes?
  3. Did your doctor have any specific recommendations about Beyond-use dati?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Beyond-use dating 28 days.

To answer MikeNYC_runner: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Relevant to Beyond-use dating 28 days vs — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.2% → 5.3%, triglycerides 219 → 119 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
