Slightly tangential to ClinicalTrials.gov GLP-1 but oliver_london reminded me — has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

Slightly tangential to ClinicalTrials.gov GLP-1 but JenMemphis reminded me — what is the latest on the oral formulations?

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on ClinicalTrials.gov GLP-1.

To answer TrialTracker_MD: my doctor and I discussed the options and went with brand.

Quick update: I have noticed more improvement since posting this. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Want to share my personal experience related to ClinicalTrials.gov GLP-1 trial since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 273 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 14 months later: I am down 73 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The ClinicalTrials.gov aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.
