Nate — 1,200 cal/day is definitely too low, especially if you're male. Please talk to your provider or a dietitian. Under-eating on GLP-1s can cause muscle loss and metabolic adaptation that'll hurt you long-term. We want fat loss, not just weight loss. 💪

The energy thing is real and I think it's one of the most underreported benefits of tirz. I track my workouts religiously and my performance has IMPROVED since starting, despite being in a caloric deficit. My lifting numbers went up. That should not happen when you're eating less. There's definitely something pharmacological going on beyond just "eating better."

I've seen some hypotheses that GIP receptor activation in muscle tissue may help preserve or even improve muscle glucose utilization during weight loss. Would love to see more research on this.

Fran that's fascinating. I'm not lifting (yet) but I might start — the energy has to go somewhere right? 😂

Thanks everyone for confirming I'm not losing my mind. Just losing weight and gaining energy. I'll take it!
