My endo and I disagree about i stopped wanting wine and i and I want a reality check.

They are saying that I do not need to worry about it but everything I have read here suggests otherwise.

I trust this community's collective knowledge but I also do not want to go against medical advice without good reason. What would you do?

To answer the question about I stopped wanting wine and I was NOT prepared for that anyone have experience? — in my experience this comes down to a few key factors.

I have been dealing with this for over a year now, and what I have found is that individual responses really do vary. That said, the general consensus on I stopped wanting wine and I seems solid.

What specifically worked for me: getting baseline labs before making any changes. I would suggest JakeBK_lifts try the same approach and reporting back.

Completely agree with mike.trainer_LA. I would add that I stopped wanting wine and I also has implications for long-term metabolic health that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to significant improvements compared to what I was doing before.

As a pharmacist, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on I stopped wanting wine and I was NOT.

Building on what JakeBK_lifts said — the evidence base here is robust. The key publications to reference are from the SURMOUNT program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
