Dr.PulmRoch — that is really helpful context on Bacteriostatic water. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to Bacteriostatic water sourcing since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 270 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 18 months later: I am down 80 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The Bacteriostatic water aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

Want to share my personal experience related to Bacteriostatic water sourcing since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 287 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 10 months later: I am down 87 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Bacteriostatic water aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this Bacteriostatic water thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first few weeks are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪
