I know this thread is old but I found it through search and wanted to add my experience with TRIUMPH program trial since this was the most comprehensive discussion I could find.

15 months later, the information in this thread still holds up. My results have been even better than expected based on this discussion.

For anyone else finding this through search: the advice here is solid. Some of the vendor information may be outdated.

Want to share my personal experience related to TRIUMPH program trial design since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 267 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 8 months later: I am down 52 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The TRIUMPH program aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

Relevant to TRIUMPH program trial design — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.6% → 5.5%, triglycerides 213 → 113 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 17 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

stefan_berlin — that is really helpful context on TRIUMPH program trial. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.
