I respect Dr.NateNeph perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Needle gauge and dead space — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying Dr.NateNeph wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Relevant to Needle gauge and dead space — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.0% → 5.3%, triglycerides 195 → 95 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Slightly tangential to Needle gauge and dead but amy_econ_NJ reminded me — has the insurance landscape changed recently?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.
