Slightly tangential to Is it normal for the but Dr.EM_Chicago reminded me — has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

Relevant to Is it normal for the powder to — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.6% → 5.5%, triglycerides 229 → 99 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 → 1.1 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 9 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to Is it normal for the powder to since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 285 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 16 months later: I am down 55 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Is it normal for the aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

hank_denver — that is really helpful context on Is it normal for the. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.
