Anyone else dealing with understanding your cmp my results so from a cost perspective?

I have been paying $280/month and I am trying to get insurance to cover it.

chris_chi24's experience with Understanding your CMP resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process — starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I had more GI issues initially. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 49 lbs in 14 months.

One thing I would add that chris_chi24 did not mention: insurance coverage was a major hurdle.

Thanks for sharing this, chris_chi24. A few questions about your Understanding your experience:

  1. What dose are you currently on?
  2. How long before you noticed significant changes?
  3. Did your doctor have any specific recommendations about Understanding?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Understanding your CMP .

To answer DanielChem_CHI: my doctor and I discussed the options and went with brand.

Quick update: I have noticed more improvement since posting this. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏
