Can I just vent for a second about triple agonist sounds scary - is?

I know this forum is evidence-based and I love that about it, but sometimes you just need to let it out. I hit another plateau and I am frustrated.

Not looking for a fix necessarily β€” just solidarity. Anyone else going through this right now?

nick_newbie's experience with Triple agonist sounds resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process β€” starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I titrated faster. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 52 lbs in 7 months.

One thing I would add that nick_newbie did not mention: the relationship with food fundamentally changed.

Thanks for sharing this, nick_newbie. A few questions about your Triple agonist experience:

  1. What dose are you currently on?
  2. How long before you noticed significant changes?
  3. Did your doctor have any specific recommendations about Triple agonist?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here β€” wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Triple agonist sounds.

To answer EndoResFellow: yes, I am on compounded sema from a 503B pharmacy.

Quick update: things are still going well. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion β€” this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. πŸ™

Relevant to Triple agonist sounds scary - β€” here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.6% β†’ 5.5%, triglycerides 225 β†’ 95 mg/dL, hsCRP 8.0 β†’ 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 17 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
