Slightly tangential to Anti-thrombotic but claudia_zurich reminded me — has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?

I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.

+1 to claudia_zurich. Especially the point about "A few questions about your Anti-thrombot..." — I have seen the same in my own experience with Anti-thrombotic.

Dr.PathRoch — that is really helpful context on Anti-thrombotic. Follow-up question: what labs did your doctor order to monitor this?

I am in a similar situation (just started) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer LibrarianMeg's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Anti-thrombotic properties of is an area where we have good evidence.

The short answer: baseline labs + quarterly monitoring is the standard of care.

The longer answer involves understanding the mechanism of action at the receptor level, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
