Optimal lab testing frequency on is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. RetaRick_CA articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The Optimal lab testing aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on Optimal lab testing hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 277 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 52 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about Optimal lab testing — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

paige_pharma — that is really helpful context on Optimal lab testing. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer SarahChen_PharmD's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, Optimal lab testing frequency is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
