I respect Dr.EM_Chicago perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Kidney function on semaglutide — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying Dr.EM_Chicago wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on Kidney function on hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 293 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.
