Check the batch number on your vials. If it's WS-SEM-2026-0227, contact WWB and they should replace it since they've acknowledged the issue. As for safety at 97.1% — yes, it's still considered acceptable purity for research peptides. The 2.9% impurity is likely degradation products of semaglutide itself, not random contaminants. Many vendors sell product in the 96-98% range as standard. That said, if I had other options on hand, I'd personally use a higher-purity batch and set this one aside. The visual differences (yellow tint) bother me more than the number. In biochem, clear and colorless is always what you want. If it's your first order and you don't have prior WWB experience for comparison, I'd recommend testing 1 vial through Janoshik before using. $135 for peace of mind.

I have 12 orders from WWB over 18 months. This is the first negative report I've seen. Let me put it in context: My personal WWB purity results over time: | Order | Batch | Purity | |-------|-------|--------| | 1 | WS-SEM-2025-0415 | 98.9% | | 3 | WS-SEM-2025-0703 | 99.2% | | 5 | WS-SEM-2025-0922 | 99.0% | | 8 | WS-SEM-2025-1210 | 99.3% | | 10 | WS-SEM-2026-0118 | 99.1% | Five tests over 18 months, all 98.9-99.3%. One bad batch reported by Harry doesn't change my confidence in WWB as a vendor. It does remind us all to stay vigilant and test periodically, which we should be doing anyway. Every vendor will eventually have a QC failure. What matters is the baseline and the response. WWB's baseline is excellent and their response was appropriate.

This thread is exactly why I tell every new member: test your peptides, even from trusted vendors. Harry caught this because he had a baseline to compare against and he tested when something looked off. If he'd just injected without checking, he would have used a substandard (though not dangerous) product without knowing. The $135 for a Janoshik test is 3-5% of a typical order cost. Think of it as quality insurance. You don't skip car insurance because you've never had an accident. 🔍

Final Update: Replacement shipment arrived today (10 days after they shipped). New batch is WS-SEM-2026-0312. Visual inspection looks perfect — solid white cakes, no discoloration. I'll test one vial through Janoshik and update this thread. WWB also sent an extra 2 vials beyond the 20 as a goodwill gesture, and included a note (typed, in the package) apologizing for the inconvenience. Bottom line: Bad batch happened. WWB owned it and made it right. One QC failure doesn't erase months of consistent quality, but it's a reminder that no vendor is infallible. Test your stuff, report your results (good AND bad), and hold vendors accountable. That's how this community works. ✊
