1 November 2025 is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. LabKate articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The A1C from 7.2 to 5.1 aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on A1C from 7.2 to 5.1 hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 261 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

7 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 36 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about A1C from 7.2 to 5.1 — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Dr.ReproEndo — that is really helpful context on A1C from 7.2 to 5.1 . Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer Dr.RaviCardio's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, A1C from 7.2 to 5.1 November is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
