Just had to share this with someone who would understand — lipid panel improvements mega-thread my results.

Got my latest A1C and I am genuinely emotional right now. 12 months in and the progress is real.

Details in the comments but wanted to start this thread because I think others going through the same thing need to see that it works.

sophie_paris's experience with Lipid panel improvements resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process — starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I started 3 months later. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 62 lbs in 7 months.

One thing I would add that sophie_paris did not mention: the mental health improvements were just as significant.

Thanks for sharing this, sophie_paris. A few questions about your Lipid panel experience:

  1. What dose are you currently on?
  2. How long before you noticed significant changes?
  3. Did your doctor have any specific recommendations about Lipid panel?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Lipid panel improvements.

To answer A1cHero_PHX: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Relevant to Lipid panel improvements — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.0% → 5.3%, triglycerides 195 → 95 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
