totally fair point and I agree. For most people buying from a standard US compounding pharmacy, a credit card works fine. My perspective is more about the principle of financial privacy. I don't think my bank or credit card company needs to know about my health decisions. Period. Even if it's perfectly legal. The "I have nothing to hide" argument breaks down when you realize data brokers literally sell your purchase history. Your health data is YOUR data. 🔒 But yeah — if crypto feels like too much friction, don't let it be a barrier to getting your medication. Health comes first, privacy optimization comes second.

This is all really helpful. One more question: which Monero wallet do you recommend for a beginner? I see Cake Wallet, Monerujo, and the official GUI wallet mentioned a lot.

Good question about wallets. For mobile (easiest to start): Cake Wallet — available on iOS and Android. Clean interface, built-in exchange feature so you can swap BTC→XMR right in the app. This is what I recommend for 90% of people. For desktop: Feather Wallet — lightweight, fast, more features than the official GUI. Great if you're on a computer. For maximum security: Official Monero GUI wallet running your own node. This is overkill for most people but if you're a privacy maximalist, running your own node means you're not trusting anyone else's server. Start with Cake Wallet. It's the iPhone of Monero wallets — just works. You can always graduate to more advanced setups later 📱

+1 for Cake Wallet as a starting point. That's what I used for my first 6 months before moving to Feather on desktop. Last tip from me: practice with small amounts first. Send yourself $5 worth of XMR, make sure you understand the process, THEN do a real purchase. Crypto mistakes can be permanent (send to wrong address = gone forever) so the practice run is worth it. Good luck everyone. Your health data is worth protecting 🛡️
