Want to share my personal experience related to P2P payment apps (Venmo/Zelle) since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 259 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 8 months later: I am down 69 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The P2P payment apps aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Dr.EM_Chicago — that is really helpful context on P2P payment apps. Follow-up question: did you change anything about your diet at the same time?

I am in a similar situation (month 2) and trying to set realistic expectations.

Want to share my personal experience related to P2P payment apps (Venmo/Zelle) since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 276 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 14 months later: I am down 76 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The P2P payment apps aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this P2P payment apps thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first 6 weeks are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪

This thread is incredible for P2P payment apps info. Better than most online groups.
