Great guide. Let me add some security basics that every beginner should know: 🔐 Enable 2FA on everything — any exchange account should have two-factor authentication. Use an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy), NOT SMS. SIM swaps are real and scary. 🔐 Use a unique email for crypto stuff. Don't use your main gmail. Create a separate email just for exchanges/crypto. If your main email gets compromised, your crypto accounts are still safe. 🔐 Bookmark your exchange URLs and always access them from the bookmark. Never click links in emails claiming to be from Coinbase/Kraken/etc. Phishing sites look identical to the real thing. 🔐 Keep your phone/computer updated. Security patches exist for a reason. Probably 90% of crypto theft is phishing and social engineering, not some hacker breaking encryption. The weakest link is always the human. Stay alert, stay safe 🛡️

good call on the separate email, I wouldn't have thought of that. Just created one specifically for this. OK so I bought $50 of BTC through Cake Wallet to test. It showed up! Now if I want to pay a pharmacy that accepts crypto, I just... send it to their address?

exactly! STEP 4: Making a payment 1. The pharmacy/vendor will give you a payment address (long string of letters/numbers) and usually a QR code 2. In your wallet, tap "Send" 3. Paste the address OR scan the QR code 4. Enter the amount 5. Double-check the address (at least first 6 and last 6 characters) 6. Hit send 7. Done! IMPORTANT: Always double-check the address. There's malware that can swap copied addresses with a hacker's address. Verify visually every time. The transaction will show as "pending" for a bit (BTC: 10-30 min for first confirmation, XMR: ~2 min). Most vendors will process your order after 1-2 confirmations. And that's basically it! Buy crypto → send to vendor → get your peptides. It sounds complicated written out but after doing it once or twice it becomes second nature. Like the first time you used Venmo — weird at first, easy after that 📲

Dude this is the best beginner guide I've seen anywhere, and I've been reading crypto subreddits for weeks trying to figure this out. They all assume you already know things. The Venmo comparison is perfect. It IS basically like Venmo but without a bank watching. Bookmarked, saved, and screenshotted (the guide, NOT my seed phrase 😂). Thanks for taking the time to write this up! 🙏

haha glad the guide helped and VERY glad you're not screenshotting seed phrases 😂 One final tip for everyone: don't overthink it. Crypto can feel overwhelming because there's SO much information out there. For our purposes (buying health products with some financial privacy), you really only need to know the basics I've covered here. You don't need to understand blockchain consensus mechanisms or layer-2 scaling solutions. You just need: wallet → fund → send. That's it. Start small, get comfortable, and ask questions here anytime. This community is weirdly supportive for an internet forum and I love it 💚 Stay safe out there everyone!
