Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this Testosterone changes thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first month are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪

Want to share my personal experience related to Testosterone changes on GLP-1 since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in March 2025 at 285 lbs with metabolic syndrome. My telehealth provider prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 6 months later: I am down 80 lbs, my labs have normalized, and my sleep apnea has improved dramatically. The Testosterone changes aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This forum was my go-to resource throughout.

Relevant to Testosterone changes on GLP-1 — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 8.0% → 5.3%, triglycerides 231 → 101 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Want to share my personal experience related to Testosterone changes on GLP-1 since I think it might help others in a similar situation.

I started my GLP-1 journey in October 2024 at 257 lbs with prediabetes and hypertension. My endocrinologist prescribed semaglutide 0.25mg to start.

Now, 12 months later: I am down 87 lbs, my labs have normalized, and I am off 2 of my 3 medications. The Testosterone changes aspect specifically was something that made a big difference in my journey.

This community helped me every step of the way.

denise_HTX — that is really helpful context on Testosterone changes on. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
