Hey everyone. I have been on tirzepatide for about 6 months now and wanted to get the community's take on something.

Cash vs crypto vs card — looking for input

I have been reading through old threads but have not found exactly what I'm looking for. My situation: I have been wondering about cash vs crypto vs card looking and I am not sure what to make of it.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What was your experience? My PCP was not super helpful — just said to "monitor it" which is not exactly actionable advice lol.

Any input appreciated. Thanks in advance. 🙏

To answer the question about Cash vs crypto vs card looking for input — in my experience this comes down to a few key factors.

I have been dealing with this for several months now, and what I have found is that individual responses really do vary. That said, the general consensus on Cash vs crypto vs card seems solid.

What specifically worked for me: tracking everything in a spreadsheet. I would suggest DataDave try the same approach and reporting back.

Completely agree with TirzTom. I would add that Cash vs crypto vs card also has implications for body composition that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to fewer side effects compared to what I was doing before.

As a healthcare provider, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on Cash vs crypto vs card looking for.

Building on what DataDave said — the evidence base here is well-established. The key publications to reference are from the SURMOUNT program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
