Same experience here with 0.25mg → 2.4mg titration. hans_munich described it perfectly.

4mg titration hits close to home

I respect Dr.GastroMayo perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: 0.25mg → 2.4mg titration — the effect size varies considerably by population.

I am not saying Dr.GastroMayo wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

Reading this thread on 0.25mg → 2.4mg titration hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 277 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 52 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about 0.25mg → 2.4mg — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Bookmarked 📌 The 0.25mg → 2.4mg info in this thread is essential. Coming back to this for sure.

SallyK_inj — that is really helpful context on 0.25mg → 2.4mg titration. Follow-up question: did you experience any side effects during this phase?

I am in a similar situation (about to start) and trying to set realistic expectations.
