Relevant to Hypoglycemia risk with — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

Key improvements: A1C 7.2% → 5.3%, triglycerides 243 → 113 mg/dL, hsCRP 6.0 → 1.3 mg/L. All on tirzepatide for 11 months.

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.

Thanks for sharing this, SarahChen_PharmD. A few questions about your Hypoglycemia risk experience:

  1. What dose did you start at?
  2. How long before you noticed side effects improving?
  3. Did your provider have any specific recommendations about Hypoglycemia?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

OP here — wow, did not expect this much response! Thank you all for the thoughtful replies on Hypoglycemia risk with.

To answer traveltech_sara: I get my labs done through Quest every 3 months.

Quick update: my latest labs came back even better. Thanks again for the evidence-based discussion — this is exactly why I posted in a science-based community. 🙏

Just wanted to say — for anyone reading this Hypoglycemia risk thread who is feeling discouraged: it gets better. The first month are the hardest. Hang in there. 💪
