Slightly tangential to A1C from 9.2 to 5.4 in 8 but A1cHero_PHX reminded me — has anyone else noticed changes in their alcohol tolerance?
I know it is not exactly on-topic but it seems related enough to ask here rather than starting a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered — I did search first.
Thanks for sharing this, A1cHero_PHX. A few questions about your A1C from 9.2 to 5.4 experience:
- What dose did you start at?
- How long before you noticed side effects improving?
- Did your provider have any specific recommendations about A1C from 9.2 to?
I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.

Relevant to A1C from 9.2 to 5.4 in 8 — here is my latest bloodwork comparison:

The inflammatory marker drop is what impresses me most. Consistent with the SELECT trial's cardiovascular findings.
