Update on my situation with gym anxiety after major weight loss — wanted to follow up since some of you asked.

3 weeks since my last post and things have improved significantly. Here is what happened:

Talked to my endo about the concerns raised in my previous thread and they agreed with the community advice.

raj_cambridge's experience with Gym anxiety after major resonates deeply with mine. I went through almost the identical process — starting dose, titration timeline, side effects, everything.

The main difference: I am on a different medication. But the overall trajectory has been remarkably similar. Down 43 lbs in 8 months.

One thing I would add that raj_cambridge did not mention: my sleep quality improved dramatically.

Thanks for sharing this, raj_cambridge. A few questions about your Gym anxiety after experience:

  1. What dose are you currently on?
  2. How long before you noticed significant changes?
  3. Did your doctor have any specific recommendations about Gym anxiety?

I am in a similar boat and trying to learn from others' experiences before my next appointment.
