I literally cannot eat more than 3 bites help

Saw this come across my feed today and thought the community would want to discuss.

I literally cannot eat more than is something that affects a lot of us here, and the latest information is worth paying attention to. I'll share what I know and hopefully others can fill in the gaps.

Key points as I understand them:

  • This has been evolving over the past few months
  • There are different perspectives on how to approach it
  • The practical implications depend on your specific situation

What are you all hearing from your providers about this? Anyone have direct experience to share?

To answer the question about I literally cannot eat more than 3 bites help β€” in my experience this comes down to a few key factors.

I have been dealing with this for over a year now, and what I have found is that individual responses really do vary. That said, the general consensus on I literally cannot eat more seems solid.

What specifically worked for me: getting baseline labs before making any changes. I would suggest WendyG_ATL try the same approach and reporting back.

Completely agree with mike.trainer_LA. I would add that I literally cannot eat more also has implications for long-term metabolic health that sometimes get overlooked in these discussions.

In my case, following a similar approach led to significant improvements compared to what I was doing before.

As a pharmacist, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on I literally cannot eat more than 3 bites.

Building on what WendyG_ATL said β€” the evidence base here is robust. The key publications to reference are from the SURMOUNT program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.
