Hi all, brand new here. My endo just prescribed semaglutide and I have a question about ozempic face is real and i.

Sorry if this has been asked before — I did try searching but the amount of information here is overwhelming (in a good way). I am on week 1 and everything is new to me.

Any guidance appreciated. You all seem really knowledgeable and I am glad I found this community.

I respect Dr.EndoEP perspective but I think this oversimplifies things a bit. Re: Ozempic face is real and I am — the subgroup analyses show meaningful heterogeneity.

I am not saying Dr.EndoEP wrong entirely — just that the picture is more nuanced than a blanket statement. The SURMOUNT data specifically shows baseline BMI-dependent responses.

+1 to Dr.EndoEP. Especially the point about "Ozempic face is real and I am only month..." — I have seen the same in my own experience with Ozempic face is real and.

As a pharmacist, I want to add some clinical context to this discussion on Ozempic face is real and I am only month.

Building on what Dr.EndoEP said — the evidence base here is robust. The key publications to reference are from the SURMOUNT program[1].

Key clinical points:

  1. Efficacy is dose-dependent and typically requires 4-5 weeks to reach steady state
  2. Side effect profile is predictable and usually manageable with standard protocols
  3. Monitoring should include baseline labs and follow-up at 3-month intervals
  4. Patient education significantly improves outcomes and adherence

Standard disclaimer: this is educational, not individualized medical advice.

Gonna push back on this one. Ozempic face is real and I am only is not that straightforward in my experience. I have been on this for 12 months and the reality is messier than the trials suggest.

Don't get me wrong — the medication works. But cost accessibility is a real barrier. We should be honest about that.
