From wheelchair-bound to hiking is not that straightforward in my experience

This is exactly right. amsterdam_pete articulated what I have been trying to explain to my friends for months. The From wheelchair-bound to aspect is what made the difference for me.

Reading this thread on From wheelchair-bound to hits close to home. Dad of 2 checking in — I started at 277 lbs and felt like I would tried everything.

13 months on tirz and I am a different person. Not just the 52 lbs lost — my energy, my mood, my relationship with food. All transformed.

If you are on the fence about From wheelchair-boun — take the leap. It was the best health decision I have ever made. ❤️

Dr.GutHealth — that is really helpful context on From wheelchair-bound to. Follow-up question: how long did you wait before increasing your dose?

I am in a similar situation (week 4) and trying to set realistic expectations.

To answer MASHdoc_SA's question specifically:

From a clinical standpoint, From wheelchair-bound to is a reasonable concern that deserves a thorough answer.

The short answer: the evidence supports this approach for most patients.

The longer answer involves reviewing the specific clinical trial data relevant to your question, which I am happy to elaborate on if helpful.
